Synopsis

Better to be a hunter, not prey.

Ever since her partner was kidnapped, Aurora Sky has been on a personal mission to get him back. To do that she needs the vampire responsible for destroying her life.

In order to have a snowball’s chance at success, she’ll have to team up with her most loyal friends—including a certain vampire in black with a provoking talent for distraction.

Old cravings aren’t easily quenched, nor past passions. With knowledge comes danger and Aurora is at risk on all sides.

    Loved it!

Aurora Sky continues to meet diversity with courage and resilience in this installment while she works with Noel and Fane to rescue Dante. I find myself liking Fane more and more. Jefford has a high quality writing style that includes well-developed characters, intricate plot development that flows all the way to the end, and realistic settings. She closes the book leaving the reader reeling for more.

    The Hunt is ON!

Wow The fourth installment of the Aurora Sky’s series “Hunting Season” by Nikki Jefford sure had its WOW factor. Another amazing book with so much going on. I love all the excitement that occurs in this series. It definitely keeps you on your toes. Dante has been kidnapped by Giselle and Aurora is doing everything she can to get him back. This time she has Fane on her side. I’m enjoying the chance Aurora has to work on a relationship with Fane. We learn a lot about the agency, the vampires, and recruiting in this book. One of the attributes I have learned about Aurora, which I love while reading the overall series, is how much Aurora doesn’t give up. Aurora gets knock down but always gets up with even more determination. What a great example to have in our own lives. I loved getting to know Fane so much more and how he and Joss came to be like family. Noel and Valerie grow more into their character as well. Don’t miss another exciting book of Aurora Sky with another amazing ending.
