Synopsis

Do you run too much every day, yet you can’t seem to get off the treadmill of quickness in your life? Do you feel so exhausted at the end of the day that you have nothing left to give to yourself or others? Do you get so tired that it takes you days to recover? Do you feel frustrated because you can’t accomplish as much as you think you used to do?

If you answered any of these questions in the affirmative, you may have difficulty pacing yourself. But rest assured that this is not a problem that only a few of us have. We all struggle with this from time to time, and for some reason, migraine sufferers struggle with this more than others. This is possibly because before the onset of migraine attacks it was so easy for us to do so much more. Yet, now, it seems that we can only do a fraction of what we did previously. This can cause a lot of stress and frustration for migraine sufferers.

Pacing yourself is difficult because we live in a culture that is always going and doing. And it doesn’t seem to matter if we are suffering with migraines or any other chronic illness. We are just told over and over in the media and to keep running and doing. In fact, the faster we move and the faster we run the more encouraged we are to keep going and overdoing it. But we all know that this can take a huge toll on our body (and mind) when we suffer from migraine attacks.

In this E-book, I will outline ten ways that you can successfully pace yourself. After reading this E-book, decide which lifestyle changes you need to make right away, choose one of the ways of changing behaviours below to bring about the lifestyle change you would like, and try it for a minimum of two weeks.
