Evodicle is a complex fiction, a deeply sensual and spirited novel that follows the story of the multi-talented paranormal, Devin Casey. We meet our heroine as she is intercepted by Earth's International Space Core after having stolen one of their shuttles and one hundred thirty six kilograms of a seemingly insignificant mineral called zolthacite. While she doesn't know it yet, the events have begun that will require her to pursue the completion of a prophecy that had been bestowed upon her decades earlier. Much to her surprise, she finds allies among her captors who seek to help her in her quest. Much to her alarm, one of them is Lieutenant Commander Daniel Archer, a seductive and unexpected love interest that complicates her mission by stirring her feminine core which has long been dormant and cast aside in the name of ordained chastity. Devin finds herself torn between her long supposed destiny and the question of whether there is any room in her life, or her heart, for a lover or a turn of events that was not predicted in her future. She is forced to make difficult choices that not only affect her life and the lives of those she loves, but she must also contemplate a sacrifice that could ultimately play a part in the continuity and lifeblood of an entire planet.
