While browsing the internet one afternoon, reclusive Milford happens across a strange piece of software that appears to alter the people around him. His older sister's friends seem like the best test subjects, and soon he's rapidly changing things around with limitless capabilities. All is well until one of the girls discovers his controlling schemes and decides to turn things around as revenge.

His fingertips worked with a new consumption of raw power, eager to see just what this magical application on his monitor was capable of. So far, it had greatly exceeded his low expectations and done everything that he had typed into the text boxes. Now, Milford had his eye on Becky's size, and moved his cursor to replace her average height with something a little more dramatic.
When the changes were finalized, Milford turned in his swiveling chair just as the woman was starting to shrink. Her head fell downward, just as her body moved inward, all while she remained as calm as ever, like nothing out of the ordinary was happening. In a moment's time, she was underneath five feet tall, and shorter than she had been before going to high school. In the next few seconds, she accelerated to under four feet tall, and her height fell beneath the knob on Milford's bedroom door.
"What is it?" Becky spoke, her voice distant and quieter, though not faltered by her recent spell of changing size.
Perhaps remarkable of all, Milford noted, besides his sister shrinking to the height of a proper doll, was that Becky's clothes dwindled with her, remaining just the perfect size and fit for her altering body as the magic changed her flesh and bone. When Becky was a foot tall, the alterations slowed and ceased, and the woman in Milford's bedroom was a fraction of her former height and weight.
"How did you get so small?" his words stumbled.
"I've always been this tiny," Becky said, as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "A birth defect, or something the doctors explained to me. I stopped growing at twelve inches when I reached puberty, and I've been that way ever since."
Milford anxiously crossed his legs firmly. Just like everything else, she thought that her new doll size was normal, no matter how impossible it seemed. Becky was probably now the tiniest living girl in the world.
