In the world that's left after the Great Extinction, Jonas leaves the oppressive confines of his life to find the Prophets. In Jonas' work in the archives, he learns of a group who tried to save society. The Prophets warned of the Great Extinction, before leaving the city to start their own society. Jonas has always itched for change. He loved to read, but the more he read of the world that used to be, the more Jonas needed out. Jonas sets out on foot from the ruins of the city into the wilderness. He walks into the desert with only the knowledge he read in the archives. Stories told of nomads, wanderers that set fires and killed travellers. Jonas seeks out the greenery of the mountain. And when he is swept into the river, the story begins...
