Synopsis

When reporter Ellen Gleeson gets a "Have You Seen This Child?" flyer in the mail, she almost throws it away. But something about it makes her look again, and her heart stops—the child in the photo is identical to her adopted son, Will. Her every instinct tells her to deny the similarity between the boys, because she knows her adoption was lawful. But she's a journalist and won't be able to stop thinking about the photo until she figures out the truth. And she can't shake the question: if Will rightfully belongs to someone else, should she keep him or give him up? She investigates, uncovering clues no one was meant to discover, and when she digs too deep, she risks losing her own life—and that of the son she loves.
Lisa Scottoline breaks new ground in Look Again, a thriller that's both heart-stopping and heart-breaking, and sure to have new fans and book clubs buzzing.

This is my second but not Lisa Scottoline, but probably not my last. it's another first class thriller double grab the heart of every mother. the plot is far from believable in most circles by then that's what makes it a thriller. it has just the right amount of the romance, a little jealousy, and a little gold digging. I won't say that it was hard to put down, but it was easy to pick up again. about my only complaint would be but the child in this book appears to be a little less believable because he is developed far beyond his years. Three year olds are not that mature. I'm grateful that I was not full of blood and guts however, if one likes to read more of Lisa Scottoline books.

Love and family.. Amazing journey
May 9th, 2014
This book was amazing. The entire way through you find yourself saying "Just leave it alone!!!" This book explores heavy themes, and looks at the motives behind decisions that parents must make. It's very worth the read, and I will forward you, I cried my way through the last 6 or more chapters. Truly depicts the strength and tenacity that is found in a parents love for their child.

this is a compelling story, well written and engaging from the first page. What would you do in this characters situation? hard to answer, hard to imagine but shockingly real. I was unable to put it down and recommended it to all my friends. Don't pass this one by you won't regret it.
