Synopsis

One of America's most powerful and thought-provoking novelists, New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult brilliantly examines belief, miracles, and the complex core of family.

When the marriage of Mariah White and her cheating husband, Colin, turns ugly and disintegrates, their seven-year-old daughter, Faith, is there to witness it all. In the aftermath of a rapid divorce, Mariah falls into a deep depression -- and suddenly Faith, a child with no religious background whatsoever, hears divine voices, starts reciting biblical passages, and develops stigmata. And when the miraculous healings begin, mother and daughter are thrust into the volatile center of controversy and into the heat of a custody battle -- trapped in a mad media circus that threatens what little stability the family has left.

Another excellent book from Jodi! She does such thorough research into her subject and her stories are written so that you see them from different perceptions.

Another Amazing Story!

It's no wonder she's a best selling author. This woman has a gift to create the most amazing stories and Keeping Faith certainly bears witness to her unstoppable talent. Thank you Ms. Picoult for several nights of reading far later than I should have and having to take little cat naps to recover a bit during my lunch break. It was worth it!

I guess it's a subject that you can debate till the cows come home and you won't know for sure. But at least it has got a happy ending.

A real page turner. Couldn't figure out the motives of the characters. Couldn't wait until the next chapter. A real Picoult fan

:/

I wanted to like this book more but it seemed to just stretch out the story and made it longer than it needed to be. I didn't feel like the ending gave enough closure after all the storylines that were in the book
