Beautifully written as always. Lovely story so easy to get lost in her books.

Engaging to the end
November 13th, 2013
A tragic tale of two women both married at a time to a great author. One of loss-of-self for a fiery independent and intelligent young women in a world dominated by men, feelings compounded beyond redemption by a greatly misunderstood and irrecoverable bout of postnatal depression in the 1950's and another, telling the lifelong inevitable unhappiness that comes from coveting something that is not yours yet you take it anyway. This book kept me coming back, eager to find what happens next. I'm a little sorry it is now finished.
