Many women try too hard to be nice. It's a way of life for many who live in a culture that expects them to be the ones who "keep everyone happy." But what happens when keeping everyone else happy drains your own happiness? This book by bestselling author Dr. Kevin Leman shows how women who find themselves manipulated by impassivity, guilt, or abusive behavior can learn to assert themselves while maintaining their "pleasing" personalities.

Good book as per usual from Dr. Leman. If you are the type of person who has trouble saying no then this is a good book for you. There is a questionnaire that can help you find out how much of a pleaser you are. Yes some are worse than others. If you have a serious problem then Dr. Leman suggests you go get help. I found that I am able to use his suggestions to help myself be assertive enough to become more balanced. It's a good book and I recommend it.
