Synopsis

Gabe, Jace, and Ash: three of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the country. They’re accustomed to getting anything they want. Anything at all. For Gabe, it’s making one particular fantasy come true with a woman who was forbidden fruit. Now she’s ripe for the picking...

When Gabe Hamilton saw Mia Crestwell walk into the ballroom for his hotel’s grand opening, he knew he was going to hell for what he had planned. After all, Mia is his best friend’s little sister. Except she’s not so little anymore. And Gabe has waited a long time to act on his desires.

Gabe has starred in Mia’s fantasies more than once, ever since she was a teenager with a huge crush on her brother’s best friend. So what if Gabe’s fourteen years older? Mia knows he’s way out of her league, but her attraction has only grown stronger with time. She’s an adult now, and there’s no reason not to act on her most secret desires.

As Gabe pulls her into his provocative world, she realizes there’s a lot she doesn’t know about him or how exacting his demands can be. Their relationship is intense and obsessive, but as they cross the line from secret sexual odyssey to something deeper, their affair runs the risk of being exposed—and vulnerable to a betrayal far more intimate than either expected.

It took me a while to engage as it sounded like other books, but then it moves faster and the love story takes shape.

Started this book twice, first time it was way too much like 50 shades of grey with the contract and such. Second time read it through and then continued on with the other two books in the series. They were good.

Once again Ms Banks, ace'd it. Another exceptional story that brought tears to my eyes. It shows us the truth about love, that there is up and downs, but if the love is true they can overcome the downs

If you are searching for another hot read after 50 Shades; look no further! This was no my favorite - that honour goes to S.E.C.R.E.T....but Rush was good. The characters were interesting and the sex hot.

Maya Banks has done it again, another steaming hot, sexy read. Maya Banks has started this series with a bang, Gabe is the sexy best friend to Mia's brother, Jace. Since Mia was a teenager she has lusted after Gabe, but to Gabe she was just his best friend's little sister, she was forbidden fruit. This read was addicting, Gabe and Mia stuck it all out, their realtionship lasted through disapproval from Jace, whose betrayal was far more unexpected than ther realised. Maya once again wrote a masterpiece.

A well written story. This is the first installment of the trilogy. Can be read alone, but would recommend reading the whole series. Gabe's story is truly beautiful. Mrs Banks has caught the readers attention in not degrading the BDSM community. Gabe being a Dom, is written as an emotional character who feels for another. There are many books out there containing BDSM and can be tacky. This is a well thought out book and the continuing trilogy is just as well written. I personally recommend this series and any other ebook written by Maya Banks.

The first book in the series. If you enjoyed 50 Shades of Grey, you should enjoy this book and the following books. Dominant rich man falls for innocent young lady and all the problems they face before love conquers all. Characters somewhat believable however the coldness of Gabel does not always make him endearing to the reader. Overall, give the book a read, you should enjoy it and want to read the follow on books.

Loved this book. I like how you still get the characters from the other two books incorporated into this book, it's compelling and hard to put down once you start. Maya Banks is an excellent romance author. Check out her other books.
