***Darkness Rising, Book 2 of the Into the Shadows Trilogy, is now available! Sample the first chapter at the end of this updated version of Into the Shadows!***

Fans of the TV series ‘Heroes, the film ‘Push’, and the book ‘The Hunger Games’ will enjoy Into the Shadows, a modern and paranormal thriller.

Paivi Anderson has it all—friends, a spot on the varsity basketball team, wonderful parents, and quite possibly, her first boyfriend. It was everything a freshman in high school could ask for. Her perfect life begins to crumble when she discovers her name on a list distributed by a power-hungry presidential candidate. How could anyone think of Paivi as an Enemy of the State? Could it be because of her special powers? No one was supposed to know about them, but the mysterious messages in her tater tots say otherwise. In INTO THE SHADOWS, Paivi quickly learns who her friends are and is forced into a reality she didn’t see coming.

Into the Shadows is a 65,000 word full novel.

Good storyline - crap editing

Really enjoyed the story, but found it very difficult to continue reading at times due to the numerous typos, misspellings and grammatical errors. The editing really let this book down. Otherwise it was very good.

Book One Into the Shadows Trilogy

I am very impressed with this book. I found myself rooting for the characters. It evokes emotions from laughter to nail biting nervousness, from fear to hope. Congratulations to the author on a job well done. I cannot wait to start the next installment!

Nice read, though not thoroughly edited. Reminds me of the Xmen series
