Synopsis

Intended as a group-discussion stimulant, this book reflects the somewhat unconventional thinking of a conservative evangelical Christian. The essays of Part One address some relevant issues directly and the author has been deliberately provocative in order to stimulate group-discussion. The selection of Bible studies constituting Part Two arise from many years of exposure to predominantly conservative evangelical influences at institutional church level; study at the conservative Bible Institute of South Africa (BISA) as well as many commentaries and books. The conservative evangelical premise is firmly entrenched in these studies but here and there some untypical questions are prompted.
