Synopsis

Existential fiction for fans of everything from It's a Wonderful Life to Haruki Murakami.

Troubled businessman Harrie has had a bad day at the office; stranded at the airport on Christmas eve, he strikes up conversation with Bluey, bartender at the departure lounge bar. A disabled soldier punches Harrie in a seemingly unprovoked attack.

Of course, Bluey (and The Silent Old Man) have seen it all before....But why would the soldier, a buttoned up banker, a fading popstar, an ex-British Prime Minister, a prom king, a small dog, a serial killer, a holy man and an insane woman all hate Harrie so much? And why is he nagged by a sense of deja vu?

Slowly, Harrie realises the departure lounge bar isn't all it seems....

The Frequent Flyer; a book about life, wisdom, the way some people are......and the great beyond.
