Very long

Too many characters and details that make this book very long to read. I found myself skipping an entire page once and wondering where this was all going.

Wonderful story-teller

Connolly posses a potent talent for drawing in his reader with vivid descriptions that make one forget he too is watching with his mind's eye...and not actually bearing witness to the events and characters he so expertly describes.
